  • Conference awards information and criteria

    Purpose
    The purposes of acknowledging presentation performance are:
    • to increase the quality of the papers delivered at the MiGC14 conference
    • to acknowledge excellent presentations
    • to encourage participation from students and young scientist

  • Awards

    Six awards for each track will be announced during Closing Ceremony:

    1. Best Oral Award

    Track 1
    (Medicine and Health Science)
    Track 2
    (Food and Agriculture)
    Track 3
    (Forestry, Conservation and Biodiversity)
    1st prize RM200 1st prize RM200 1st prize RM200

    2. Best Poster Award

    Track 1
    (Medicine and Health Science)

    Eligibility

    The following eligibility requirements apply:

    For all awards:
    • Papers must have been submitted on time
    • Paper has not been presented before

    For Best Oral Award:
    Must, on the date of the presentation:
    • A student
    • Student card must be presented during the presentation/ emailed to conference secretariat

    For Best Poster Award:
    • Open for all poster registered participants

  • Judging Criteria

    A panel of a minimum of three people will be selected by the scientific committee to judge the presentations based on the following criteria:
